Planetside Arena PC Version’s Release Was Delayed Until Summer: The Reason Why They Want to Wait
Daybreak Game Company has recently announced that the PC version for Planetside Arena would not be released at the end of this month. It was supposed to be released on the 29th of January, but now the title wants to release it for both PC and PS4 in summer.
After some time they spent thinking about it, they have decided to postpone the PC release date (the only one we had, anyway) in order to release it together with PS4. It will all happen in the summer. They said that they have always wanted their players to enjoy PlanetSide Arena for its amazing gameplay, and for the huge multiplayer modes. By giving us the most cared version of the game, one that is able to meet all the expectations of the people, and for both of the platforms, will be a huge thing. And we will all benefit from it soon.
Because of this delay, all the pre-orders for the game PlanetSide Arena from Steam will be, of course, refunded. The company also wants to expand the title’s beta version for its summer release deal. They said that they would be giving us more details soon and we will understand their decisions.
Why did they decide to do this?
It is not clear. It may be because of all the feedback received from players, or because of the sudden launch of Apex Legends, that come from Respawn Entertainment, or maybe is a little bit of both. A release time with no competitor and more time to deliver a game will come with great benefits for all of us.
