Devil May Cry 5 is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2019 and its scheduled to launch on March 8th. The game is launching on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. However, a special Devil May Cry 5 Nintendo Switch Edition might launch during the upcoming future. The reason why we are saying this is because Hideaki Itsuno and Matt Walker who are the Director and Producer of Devil May Cry 5 announced that they would like to see the game on Nintendo Switch.
Devil May Cry 5 for Nintendo Switch
Hideaki Itsuno and Matt Walker are in charge of Devil May Cry 5 and they announced in a recent interview that they would love to see their game run on Nintendo Switch. “We personally would love to play a Devil May Cry game on Switch. I’m one of those guys that always, I want to play everything on Switch. I’m always asking for ports. Either way, we haven’t announced anything for Switch, so let’s wait to see what happens,” said Hideaki Itsuno.
From the looks of it, we aren’t going to see a special Devil May Cry 5 Nintendo Switch Edition launch anytime soon. However, there is a high possibility that the game might launch next year. In addition, launching Devil May Cry 5 on Nintendo Switch would give Capcom a chance to test and see how well its games would sell to the Nintendo fanbase and maybe establish a long-time partnership.
March 8th Launch Date
Devil May Cry 5 for PC, Xbox and PlayStation 4 is launching on March 8th which is this Friday. If the game is well received by players, then Capcom is going to have one more reason to start working on a ported version for Nintendo Switch.
