Huawei has launched one of the best smartphones in the market, Huawei P30, and Huawei P30 Pro, and unfortunately, those models aren’t available in the US. There are many methods to import these devices in the States, but even the company is warning consumers to take precaution. The surprising fact is that B&H Photo, the retail store has both models Huawei P30 and P30 Pro available for US buyers. But don’t rush with this last information, because there is a catch here.
What’s the Catch?
First of all, all these phones support only GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile. So if you are using Sprint or Verizon network, you will be left outside. The smartphones are made for Latin America and then imported to the US. The B&H Photo store is confident about the devices, and they are selling them in the US.
Second of all, from the two models, only one is getting a warranty from B&H Photo. So will have a limited one year warranty for Huawei P30, and the other, Huawei P30 Pro does not receive a guarantee. We still don’t know what will happen with the P30 Pro, if it will follow suit.
The third obstacles after all those warnings are the price and the waiting period. You will find the Huawei P30 available in Crystal, Midnight Black, and Aurora for $599.99, and the shipping on April 29. On the other hand, the Huawei P30 Pro will come in the same colors, but with a difference of price – $899.99, and the shipping date isn’t available yet. Also, on the B&H Photo website, you will find the Huawei P30 Lite at $319.99.
Finally, the Huawei P30 Pro will be the best smartphone of the year, especially for the photography skills, but the company is losing a lot because of the unavailability in some major markets like the US.
