It’s been nearly seven years since Borderlands 2 was launched and the game is still being played to this day. The game offers amazing graphics that have their own unique style and to top it all off, the gameplay of Borderlands 2 is really fun. Now that so much time has passed since Borderlands 2 was released, fans are asking for a new title. Luckily, the folks at Gearbox Software have been dropping hints that a new and never seen before game is going to be revealed at the PAX East Show 2019.
Even though Gearbox Software didn’t specifically say that the game we are going to see during PAX East Show 2019 is Borderlands 3, the Twitter account of Randy Pitchford who is CEO of Gearbox Software posted a rather interesting picture which hints at Borderlands 3. Everyone can check out the picture by clicking this link. What we can take from the teaser posted by Randy Pitchfork is that the lettering and design of the billboard is a little bit too similar to the way Borderlands games look.
PAX East 2019
Nonetheless, the PAX East 2019 event is scheduled to kick off on March 28th and we can be sure that Gearbox Software is going to reveal additional information about the highly anticipated Borderlands 3 at the booth. In addition, the previously mentioned picture that was posted on Twitter has a small hint for fans of the Borderlands franchise. The hint is “Exit 3” which is where the booth hosted by Gearbox Software is going to be held.
We should note that the new game could always prove to be another spin-off. However, this is highly unlikely since Gearbox Software has released its fair share of spin-offs and fans are asking for a sequel that lives up to the Borderlands name.
